Description:
A toggle clamp is a mechanical tool that secures objects by applying pressure to clamp them in place. It has a pivoting lever that hinges on a plate and a clamping mechanism that moves at right angles to the lever. When the lever is in the raised position, the clamping mechanism moves freely, allowing you to insert or remove the material to be worked on. When the lever is pushed down, the clamping mechanism moves toward the material, holding it firmly in place. Toggle clamps are used in woodworking, metalworking, and other industrial applications where a quick and consistent clamping force is required. They come in different designs and sizes to cater to different clamping needs.
